Tool and Football?!
That’s right people, I may very well need to recover the entire next week due to what I am about to experience this weekend:
Tool - I am ashamed to admit it - but, this will be my first time ever to see the band Tool. I was fortunate enough to see A Perfect Circle years ago; however, the Tool experience is one that has eluded me for quite some time. It’s finally happening. Maynard, I’ll be seeing you (again) soon.
Super Bowl 46 (XLVI) - My New York Football Giants are facing off against New England in this year’s Super Bowl. How freakin’ awesome is that?! I have been counting down the days until I can adorn myself in all blue and scream at a TV while eating food that is bad for me.
If you are not jealous, you should be. It’s going to be a great weekend!

Ah, the motivation is there - but, the time isn’t.
With the new year comes new goals and things I want to get accomplished. Right now, I am finally motivated and working on a new website for myself. This is a project that has been in desperate need of attention for some time. I have been eluding to it the last month or so because, in order to see what is out there - I have to be out there. So, there you go.
As always, time is an issue. I ran 3 miles after work last night, ate dinner and then spent hours monkeying around with said site because certain features were not working the way I wanted them to. So, going to bed “early” turned into me working until 12:30am - and then waking up at 5:30am to finally fix what I couldn’t at 12:30am. Ugh.
I am playing basketball tonight, and hope to cram in another couple of hours before finally crashing hard tonight. I might not make it past 10:00pm. True story.

You wrapped up a pretty sweet weekend. Super Bowl bound!
Yes, we will see this video approximately one million times prior to kick off at the Super Bowl in Indy. There will be overanalysis of the game as well, which, after the season we’ve had up until now, we know will be meaningless. There’s just no way to predict what we’ve seen. Just like this play.
So, watch it and prepare for what will be a game for the ages. Brady & Belichick going to their 5th Super Bowl. They are 3-1 in the big game & playing that one team who was able to beat them with the Lombardi Trophy on the line. A team that derailed the undefeated season. A Manning in Indy not named Peyton.
A sequel that should be better than the original.
