Back in North Carolina safe and sound from my “first” round of holiday travels. The Christmas holiday was very quiet this year - but, a welcome reprieve nonetheless. It included the big stops in Pittsburgh, PA and Erie, PA, a lot of food, a decent amount of beers, a cameo appearance from this guy and (by the skin of my teeth) I got out of Pennsylvania before the snow really hit (whew).
Travels this weekend take me to Charlotte, NC to ring in the new year and participate in a “second” Christmas. (I’ll actually have presents to open this time around!)
Nothing too crazy going on here either. Quiet time, tasty food, delicious drinks and some good company (oh, and presents!).
