Perhaps this should be my new namesake. Was up until 3:30am last night unable to sleep. Awesome. Not to mention it has been raining all morning…so, that is not exactly helping my energy level today. Mainlining coffee like it’s going out of style. 

I did however get some things accomplished. Of note, all but one of the 1,147 albums, 8,218 songs, 21.7 days and 51.50 GB worth of music I have now has cover art. “Ahhh, pretty coverflow.” That’s gotta count for something, right?

I noticed a handful that I will probably update…but, other than that - this shit is covered. Get jealous.

Do not ask questions you are afraid to have answered. I managed to walk into this little conversation (over the phone) with someone that used to work with us. (They were calling to speak to my boss.)

A quick:

“Did you have a great Christmas and New Year? It has been a while since we last talked.”

Turned into:

“Well, if I hesitate, its because of all these things that suck in my life right now.”

I am paraphrasing, of course - but, you get the idea. Granted, we all have stuff that affects us…and I, as well as anyone else, sometimes end up on here (tumblr) bitching about it. But, I try not to do that in most everyday conversations. I just don’t feel like being the “gloomy gus” and bringing down what is supposed to be a light conversation. Plus, I am also the kind of person that tries not to bother others with all my personal shit.
