Wild(card) weekend.
So, an unusual weekend for myself. Lessons learned, experiences…well, experienced.
- Turns out you should always make sure your mobile accounts are updated with purchase info so when you are desperately trying to nab some Tool tickets you are not: on the phone with a friend (who has a slow computer), trying to hook up the girlfriend’s computer (even slower), and having the girlfriend search on her phone while I curse at myself for losing out the tickets I found in my first search.
- Also turns out that I am a big grumpy pants when I don’t have enough sleep. (Last week’s insomnia will do that to you.)
- I took a two-hour nap on Saturday for the first time since the dawn of man, I think.
- Amazing how I didn’t feel like myself at all before, and felt so much better afterwards.
- I met a Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader this weekend (in Charlotte).
- My New York Giants killed the Atlanta Falcons 24-2 on Sunday. Thank you
Tim Tebowgod. - When filling your car’s tires with air - always check to see how far the line will extend before inserting $$$. (Nothing like having to move your car around and looking like a fool. Trust me.)
- Timmy T. won his game vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers. As much as I love this for the fact that I can’t stand the Steelers, having to hear more about Tebow is sucking the lifeforce out of me. (So that’s how he does it?!)
- Managed to even watch the premiere of The Firm last night. Not bad.
